Solar Charities is looking to build a list for those willing to do some simple volunteer work down the road. Solar electricity is not only a cleaner way to provide power for our consumption it make good economic sense. I don’t pretend to be a scientist nor do I proclaim to have a degree in economics. I do however have common sense as do most folks out there and common sense tells me I cannot do this alone.

Granted some are born with cold hearts, hands extended or misguided minds that believe our governments, Gods or the next generation will fix the problems we face. Then there are those that will deny that we are doing any harm to the environment and this is all some natural cycle. They need a volunteer to show them them how this charity will benifit us all.

Some solar fans may give up on the misguided many. There is an easy way to get through to most of them. Their wallet is the window of opportunity, many that are busy with life think solar is a novel idea but do not want to volunteer time or money to causes that they will see no fruits from.

That is where Solar Charities will make a difference. It may take me years to see this idea flourish but it will, I have already invested hundreds of hours and dollars working on it. But the more I dig the more I see how much there is to learn and the benefits go beyond just environmental.

We need to focus more on the way solar can benefit our community budgets, property taxes, and educational expenses. Think about it as something that not only the haves can benefit from but the have-nots will be affected too. Sending money to the starving children in Africa is a very noble cause; but what about spending more time and money here in our communities, in your communities?

I am looking for others that want to team up with Solar Charities on future fund raising events, I want to build a coalition of solar awareness that gets the word out about helping out our own communities.

We need people to pass out fliers to strangers; we will need guerrilla marketers that aren’t satisfied with just talking the talk. I need ideas and ways we can move forward, because sitting around doing nothing or moving along with the way the winds of powerful blowhards doesn’t sit well with me anymore.
